# another rtfm situation
when ones neither knows where the manual is
yet more importantly appears perfectly unable summon the minimum necessary existential energy required to read it despite the danger
the tiny readout says 'device not recognising command'
unfortunately the old tired scientific adage is then remembered
the quote: 'this is just part of computers' - as if that explains everything
if you mean 'dealing with unenviable grinding gatekeeping nerd-bs' then maybe yeah
thing is without the correct darn command the airlock remains shut and the hungry hypercorporate moon bass mascot 'freddie' will eventually find and gnaw on anyone remaining
so at what point do big scientists start jostling the device shaking and banging uselessly on delicate airlock tech in a distinctly non technical act of desperation
the answer will surprise those not accustomed to the daily 'repo' intense lives of modern 'big scientists': they too often start banging uselessly on it from the outset
