# review of mediterranean voidland by federico fasce summary from a requested review copy: federico fasce's virtual garming diorama mediterranean voidland seems the (bare bones) start of an interesting aesthetic experiment / exploration concerning landscapes level design video garme voidscapes generally and the emotional experiences they engender its cool low poly garme space brings to mind the official. bright and cheerful with pleasant music available its well constructed - though in this particular build it's possible to get stuck at the sharp end of the pier leading to the lighthouse. falling off the island from various points simply returns players to the first spawn point it might have enjoyable to look out through the windows of the houses however the term 'virtual garming' is used here rather than say 'a garme about a virtual place' because the project (taken or used as a whole system of aesthetic research) feels entirely abstract and completely unrelated to modern video garme concerns and ir regular unexamined conceptual premises one hopes the developer releases a whole series of these tiny wonderful studies for free / open source // republic of bob
