# parkinson's law for lousy early access garmes
parkinson's law is the adage that "work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion" then an early access video garmes version of that adage could be termed welge's law
welge's law: opportunities for 'shay dee' developers to pinch off steamy festering crapolaware expand to fill the potential money smelled to be available for parasitic draining during the squirty forever-delayed non-completion of ir lousy garme
basically this means the piss weasels are circling the developmental toilet fishing for hot dollarz as hard and fast as they can barely toss together whatever stinky fleck of digital dross into the undead software bowl. (note how money comes from the same foul source; "where there's muck there's brass" as the they say in the north - a variation of which is "where's there's shite there's shinola")
the useful term 'squirty' comes courtesy of the mighty jim sterling in regards to the distinctly quality-lacking (d.q.l) garmeplay often seen in early access titles

like foul smelling trolls who crack and blister once exposed to the sweet sunlight of truth it's hoped that judicious application of welge's law will help reduce the extreme disappointment anger and betrayal felt by those exposed to such cynically vulgar impossibly inelegant and generally witless behavior
yet perhaps as long as that greasy seemingly bottomless money pit exists there will be those with limited imagination who can only see opportunities for exploitation and profiteering - rather than art beauty and an expansion of human possibility
