# ode to self hating slash trolling player rage
term of play: "self hating / trolling player" - someone who mistakenly identifies with the limited role (/play) of eg. "garmer" to the point where it 'happily' causes them pain - a form of 'self hatred through play'

by repeatedly and willingly putting oneself in tense situations - eg. "play" - it's entirely possible to troll yourself; to provoke angry self-reactions on purpose - apparently for lack of anything better to do with / in life
self hating / trolling garmer rage appears to spring from the perhaps inherent gap or schism between the aggressively implied (cultural) meaning of garmes - ie. as fun(tm) - and ir harsh grinding work-like reality
such players will even deliberately / 'deliberately' pay badly as to feel better through the resulting anger generated - a public display of false catharsis
while shp's / stp's often openly state they 'hate' garmes they most often play perhaps ir hatred is symbolic - a semi-unconscious recognition that it's actually themselves they dislike
perhaps this anger and hatred - however misplaced scattershot ludicrously bombastic and impotent - seems better then the shallowness and meaningless of garmes
indeed such rage might just be a simple recognition of the link between the explicit emptiness of many modern garmes - and the hollowness of the pathetic onion-like self; the often thankless unrewarding and seemingly unending hard work needed to even generate and maintain 'oneself' (/as a garme player)
> out out brief troll!

> and then is heard no more; a sad tale
> often told by fools - full of angry sounds and misplaced fury,
