# oculus rift style sci fi tosh in loading human > i'm an actor. i'm also a director. i produce i write and i love vidyagarmz. i love chess. i do some gym but not too much. all the works i've been gathering here are the projection of my artistic identity. you will enjoy some of them you will hate the rest. hopefully none of them will make you apathetic. that's the beauty of art > ~ 'flavio' parenti what is it about virtual reality that brings out the bad science fiction scribbler in a player? stay classy: loading human's preorder crapolaware loading human by untold garmes represents the cutting next gen(tm) edge of stunningly cheesy "sci fi tosh" held up by empty garme developer buzzwords and unreal switching lens flare it also fully conforms to welge's law - in which the number of crap garmes for the oculus rift increases in direct proportion to the number of spontaneously occurring shay dee style devs able to opportunistically smell the amount of potential meat puppet / consumer cash on offer as though everyone involved on this narrative train wreck has spent a large amount of time on spending no time whatsoever on looking up the word cliche how such uniquely poor kickstarters like this get funded seems related to the ideology of the classic x-files poster: "i want to believe." players want to believe (for some reason) in the slick hollow promise of v.r - the implied futurism - and so in doing do they open themselves to all kinds of laughable nonsense. mind you there are the amazing purple tinged vr t-shirts on offer for backers to consider note that one of the stretch goals - at what seems an embarrassingly remote $150,000 for such badly written cheese - is "truthful sound effects" allegedly needed to 'increase teh realism' / complement the 'live cinematic emotions' the entry barrier to virtuality and the bad garmes which may be developed / played there seems entirely non-existent; the portal is wide open and virtual (garme development) space already seems flooded with conceptual disasters and barely stitched together narratives // video here so sincere it hurts. loading human seems more actually about the b-movie ability to keep a straight face and deliver naked hype semi-convincingly; a performance of art vision and integrity straight from private inner world of privilege where such garmes are remotely legitimate; worthy of a virtual razzie untold garmes states that "loading human is the first adventure garme 100% design for virtual reality only." which may be read as implying there's almost a complete lack of real garme to port to any platform other than the oculus untold also kindly informs us that this is only the first act of a 3 chapter saga (ie. sliced off microcontent) and that the approximate garmeplay experience of this chapter will be about three to four hours - and could double "if played at a slow speed" // republic of bob
