# csgo noclip exhibition - cs_assault
welcome to / consider the "cs:go noclip exhibition" - 396 lightly customized snapshots of popular cs:go maps outside regular official play boundaries. as curated by / via robert what
example introduction for visitors and virtual tourists
welcome to the cs:go noclip exhibition. imagine the conceptual transformation of cs:go into dynamic spaces of artistic contemplation and social interaction where interesting events spontaneously emerge
imagine being able to position oneself anywhere in a garme map and witness cool strange events occurring while you customize the immediate area with art objects even adjust the ambient tone to fit your mood
that is to move away from static maps to constantly moving systems of artistic expression where how you play - ie. aesthetic style - becomes far more important and interesting
side note on the micro-politics of "mat_postprocess_enable": when hyper-corporations playing the role of your bestest online pal decide what you see / how you see or approach it - perhaps it's time to set andor reset "mat_postprocess_enable 0" in the developer console

bypassing the "vidyagarmz as art(tm)" debate for now let's boot up an indirect neuropink themed urban data ninja recon assault on the glitchy desert of the video real kinda

this project conceives the voids between surfaces (andor surface-voids) not only as a postmodernist critique of digital architectures but as a means to rethink relationships between subjects and virtual objects of architecture and suggest other forms of open reading
that is rather than just breaking a map into its hidden constituents tools like "noclip" give the many layers and fragments new expression giving rise to unexpected hyperreal delight / uncanny narrative spaces of existential displacement - interstitial voids become architectural maps and blueprints of an unmapped (new aesthetic) unconscious; such images display a hallucinatory resemblance to themselves

**update patch**: "as featured on killscreen"
this particular research scenario now officially sanctioned / culturally stamped as true 'vidyagarmz as art'
that is: another garme / map to critically navigate - to noclip through and deconstruct the unspoken social construction beneath eg. why did they choose the particular images they did to illustrate ir piece - what do such choices say about ir particular ideological "garmes are art" vision
price for this concept considered as virtual art experience: insert here
**update patch**
tweeted excitedly to web editor of killscreen chris priestman regarding the l4d2 zombie noclip exhibition figuring since ey liked the first one perhaps ey could give it a small signal boost or just amend the original killscreen post to mention this new exhibit. nada. zilch. no such luck ey just totally blanked it. not even a mere retweet. been there done that already ticked that particular box sampled that particular 'like styrofoam packing peanuts' art content(r) right? apparently all that matters is killscreen's endlessly self congratulating public performance of refined vidyagarm taste
in terms of stats don't mean jack / chris to me either - heck if artists depended for such mainstream sites to (truly) support what they do they'd be.. no less worse off than normal / default
