# mobile phones are for idiots i've long been convinced of it and was provided with yet more proof my partner's phone fell of the desk as i brushed past - it bounced once on the floor but was undamaged they'd set it down slightly overlapping the ledge and i happened to knock it the amount of bullshit that proceeded to come my way i thought was both out of proportion to the incident and to the importance of the object itself but still they went on and on about "being careful with other people's property" i repeatedly mentioned that the phone in it's thick shock case was undamaged but still got my ear bent for ten minutes i rapidly became inflamed and suddenly proclaimed that i didn't give a tinker's cuss about their phone i said mobile phones are hateful objects for idiots i said the phone should be forced to accommodate itself to how and where i move not the other way around if it breaks and your tiny white world comes apart at the digital seams as a result so flocking what your twisted relationship with earth destroying and brain-zombifying corporate technology needs radially adjusting // republic of bob
