# bigtime television
status: conceptual
a max headroom simulator / open source software toy set minutes into the near future
infinitely modular in its very dna the role of max headroom simulator is to provide a lo-fi simulation of the near future retro 80s aesthetic
an (abstract) garme space for emergent non-scripted play / scenarios to spontaneously occur
like late night public access cable tv the idea is to recreate the feeling of experiencing the (uk style) max headroom dimension for the first time circa '85
armed with "virtual pxl-2000" cameras players join the distributed "network 23" and together ir collective interactions / reportage (ala twitch plays pokemon) make up the realtime narrative max headroomesque play-space / persistent world theatre
